Industries We Serve
A trader and a refiner may store the same product in the same terminal and still need very different things from it. Traders want optionality and speed. Refiners want reliability and connectivity. Bunker suppliers want fast barges and consistent blends. We design our services around those differences.
Where Storage Fits in the Supply Chain
Every barrel of crude and every tonne of product passes through storage several times between the wellhead and the end user: at export terminals, at trading hubs, at refineries, at import terminals and at distribution depots. Each stop adds cost. Each stop also adds an opportunity to blend, to wait for a better market, to change transport mode or to protect supply.
Our customers use storage for four broad reasons:
Buffer stocks against supply disruption, refinery outages and shipping delays
Typical customers: Distributors, industrial users, governments
The ability to buy or produce now and deliver later
Typical customers: Traders, refiners, producers
Product positioned close to the market that needs it
Typical customers: Traders, majors, distributors
Blending and treatment to meet regional or customer specifications
Typical customers: Traders, bunker suppliers, blenders
Most customers use storage for more than one of these reasons at once. The sections below explain how each industry uses our terminals.

Independent storage that frees capital for core activities
Terminal standards consistent with major-company expectations
Access to four strategic hubs through one counterparty
Key benefits
Oil & Gas
International oil companies, national oil companies and independent producers use storage to manage the gap between production, refining and end markets. For these customers, the terminal is part of a wider supply system, and it has to meet their own internal HSSE and operational standards.

More ways to profit from time, location and quality spreads
Faster turnaround and fewer demurrage costs
Confidentiality from a non-trading counterparty
Key benefits
Commodity Trading
For traders, storage is a commercial tool. It lets them capture differences in time (contango), location (arbitrage) and quality (blending). Speed, flexibility and accurate information are what matter most.

Feedstock security and flexibility
Capacity to balance production against demand
Export logistics without investing in marine infrastructure
Key benefits
Refining & Petrochemicals
Refiners and petrochemical plants depend on steady feedstock supply and dependable outlets for their products. Storage connected by pipeline gives them buffer capacity, lets them run through supply disruptions and supports exports. See Houston (refining and petrochemicals).

Faster barge turnaround and higher barge productivity
Consistent, on-specification blends
Coordinated supply positions across two leading bunkering hubs
Key benefits
Marine Fuels
Bunker suppliers work in a high-volume, low-margin business where barge productivity and blend quality decide profitability. Two of our hubs, Singapore and Fujairah (marine fuels), are among the world’s largest bunkering ports.

Security of supply for continuous operations
Lower logistics cost through bulk supply
Expert support for in-house storage projects
Key benefits
Industrial Manufacturing
Power producers, mining operations, cement and steel makers, and other heavy industrial users need a reliable fuel supply, often in regions where storage infrastructure is limited.

Storage positioned close to the markets you serve
Efficient onward transport by several modes
A partner for expanding into new distribution markets
Key benefits
Energy Logistics
Wholesale distributors and regional trading companies move product from import terminals to local markets. They need storage close to demand, with efficient onward transport by barge, coastal tanker, truck or rail. Multi-hub solutions add flexibility across regions.
