Where You Could Contribute

Engineering Careers

Process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation engineers work on terminal development, expansions, asset integrity and consulting assignments. Based mainly in Kuala Lumpur, with site roles at every terminal.

Operations Careers

Terminal operators, marine loading masters, control room operators, maintenance technicians and shift supervisors run our terminals safely, 24 hours a day. Based at Singapore, Rotterdam, Houston and Fujairah.

Commercial Careers

Commercial managers, analysts and customer service specialists manage customer relationships, contracts, scheduling and market analysis. Based mainly in Singapore, with roles at each hub.

Corporate Careers

Finance, legal, HR, IT and OT cybersecurity, procurement and HSSE professionals support the whole group. Based mainly in Kuala Lumpur.

Graduate Opportunities

Graduate Engineering Programme

A two-year programme for engineering graduates, based in Kuala Lumpur, with rotations that include:

  1. 1Engineering and projects (Kuala Lumpur)
  2. 2Terminal operations (one of our four international terminals)
  3. 3Asset integrity or HSSE
  4. 4A consulting assignment

Graduates get a senior mentor and a structured development plan, and are supported towards professional registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia or its equivalent.

AOS Engineering Scholarships: We award six university scholarships each year to Malaysian engineering students, with internships at our terminals.

International Opportunities

A Career Across Four Hubs

We encourage movement between terminals and headquarters. Short-term assignments support projects and knowledge transfer, and longer postings build international careers. Many of our leaders have worked in more than one region.

Support safe, efficient operations at the Jurong terminal: operating procedures, performance analysis, management of change and improvement projects, including the digital twin pilot.

Requirements: Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering; 3+ years in terminal, refinery or petrochemical operations.

Lead the engineering and delivery of new tanks and brownfield modifications across the network, including Fujairah Phase 3.
